Midland/National XC Entries
Attention any TAC athletes wishing to be entered in the Midland XC Champs at Stafford Common or the National XC Champs in Sunderland.
Paul Sanderson needs to know by the 29th December as entries have to be in very early Jan.

Inter County Fell Running Championships
The U.K. Counties Athletic Union has approved proposals by the Fell Runners Association to hold Inter County Fell Races for Senior Men, Senior Women U16 male and female and U18 male and female in 2013. In each senior race the team championships will be based on four runners starting with three to count whilst with juniors it will be up to three to run with two to score.
The Inter County Athletic Union will present medals to the first three teams and the first three individuals plus first three U23 competitors. It is expected that counties will supply team members with county vests.
The events will be held in conjunction with the Settle Hills Race on Sunday 19 May 2013. Please note that senior events are also open races. It is expected that the senior race will be the 1st in the UKA Mountain Running Challenge Series.

Start Times. Women and Men 2.00 pm U16 12.00 U18 1.00pm
Venue. Settle Rugby Ground BD24 9QH
Distance. 11.3k U16 /U18 6.9k
Ascent. 400m U16/U18 250m

Important Note This course is a testing fell race and runners must have experience of fell/ hill running. Fell Runners Association Safety requirements will apply and senior competitors must be suitably equipped and capable of navigation in adverse weather conditions. In particular runners must have with them windproof whole body cover, map and compass suitable for navigating the course, and whistle as a minimum.
