About Mitchell

The 2009 season was Mitchell’s first in the under 17’s age group, and he still did very well in competitions, winning a medal at the Midland Championships and being picked for the senior team. In the 08/09 winter, he trained for the long jump at Shrewsbury and vastly improved his PB in the 09 season, reaching the English School’s qualifying standard. Next year he looks to again improve all his PBs, on both track and field, and compete to a higher standard in his final year in the under 17s age group.
