About Hayley
In the 2009 Shropshire School's Championships, Hayley broke the Championships Record in the discus with a throw of 36.07m, breaking the national standard. She has also reached the English School's standard in the pole vault, despite 2009 being her first season in the event. She won two medals at the Midlands Championships, and came sixth in discus and eight in the pole vault at the English Athletics Championships 2009 in Bedford. She was also picked for the UK School Games on her 15th birthday and equalled her PB in the pole vault, coming seventh. Next year she looks forward to more PB's, and looks to take advantage of her final year in the under 17s age group.
