  5. Well done for the athletes who turned out for the first North wales league meeting of the very long cross country season, we had a great start with wins in both the mens and ladies races. Claire Martin had a storming run to take the ladies race, she was backed up with great runs from Nellie in 8th, Cheryl in 19th, Juliet in 27th, Emma in41st and Lisa in 42nd. A great turn out for the ladies. Chris Davies yet again showed his quality by leading from start to finsih to win the mens, he was backed up by four of the telford lads in the top 20, Greg was 6th, Wayne the dash 16th, richard 18th, John the web master Sanders19th, Peter 39th, Paul 45th, Steve the legend Needs 112th, Malcolm 134th and Alan the forever young Hodgkiss 184th.

I'm still trying to find out full results, I'm not sure where I can get them from.

  7. Wow we are only three weeks into the xc season and already on to the second of the nw league, this one was scheduled in for Lilleshall hall but due to archery comitments the hall could not let the event go ahead, so the new venue is Bridgenorth.

We had a great start with both senior wins in mens and womens individual and teams. Lets take a large group and take the 2nd race aswell.

Let me know if you can make it.
